Happy Birthday to Simple Roots Portraits 🎉❤️

In these past years I’ve learned so much — how to actually run a business, manage my calendar, create boundaries, understand SEO, find a consistent editing style that truly feels like me, and most importantly… stop having editing FOMO with my images.

What I love most about this business? My clients, the freedom, and honestly the fact that there’s no one standing over me telling me what to do 🤣 Having a boss was always one of those traditional job things I struggled with. I’ve always been someone who likes to do things my own way.

This past year I changed so much within my business after taking a much needed long break last year. And I’m not going to lie — these boundaries and changes have been a lifesaver. This has been the STRONGEST and busiest year I’ve had yet.

I’m so proud of the growth, the lessons, and all the new and familiar faces that continue to show up and support me. Simple Roots Portraits would not be what it is without all of you ❤️
