An in home intimate Christmas session I forgot to share ❤️ I love going into homes (as long as we’ve got lots of windows and some light 😂😘) just to make it easier on the moms of littles.

I remember hating rushing around, packing the diaper bag, feeling like I’m not put together, grabbing snacks/bottles/clothes, and trying to finish my makeup in the car but didn’t because the baby is crying. It’s so stressful! Then you show up to photos and the kids aren’t cooperating (I expect that so don’t worry, it’s not phasing me!) and you feel like you paid for stress and chaos lol

Family photos don’t have to be so stressful, in fact, these in home ones can be more intimate, less chaotic, and make you feel relaxed. Like you want them to feel for everyone.

Some moments feel extra sacred to photograph — this was one of them.

Capturing one of my closest friends, and my child’s godmother, in this quiet, intimate in-home ceremony before she heads out of the country to be married, was an honor I don’t take lightly.

Even better, she didn’t even know I was coming 😂❤️ Surprise, I’m here 😘🫶🏼 thanks to her most lovable sister.

While I can’t make it to the destination wedding, being trusted to document this chapter — the emotions, the love, the beginning — means more than I can put into words.

As beautiful as she looked in barely any makeup and a comfy dress, I know she’s going to be looking AMAZING on her big day. Nobody deserved a nice guy more than you my girl and you found one of the sweetest ❤️

These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do. Your big day doesn’t have to be picture perfect. It can be whatever you want it to be. It’s yours to define, and if I’m lucky enough, mine to capture for you 📸
