They say, “Stop and smell the flowers.” 🌸 But if you’re a photographer, sometimes you stop and photograph the flowers instead. 📷 I mean, look at them! How am I supposed to just walk past all that color, texture, and tiny little details without grabbing my camera?
Maybe I didn’t stop to smell them… but I definitely stopped to appreciate them. And sometimes, that’s the beauty of photography. Slowing down long enough to notice the little things we might otherwise walk right past. 🌿🌼
So here’s your reminder to stop for the flowers… whether you smell them or photograph them is entirely up to you. 😉

Somewhere down a backcountry road, with nowhere to be and nowhere in particular to go… she stuck out her thumb and waited for the next adventure. 🤠

This was just a fun little shoot with my friend Jordyn. There’s something about an empty road, wide-open skies, and a little bit of mystery that makes for a fun story to photograph.

The wildfire smoke here in the valley has kept me inside for the past week or so....it really flares up my migraines. But before it got too bad, I was able to get in a quick session for this newly engaged couple. We spent some time together at a beautiful local garden, where a little bridge straddles the creek that winds through the landscape. The sound of the water, the warm afternoon light, and the quiet beauty of the garden made the perfect setting to capture this sweet season of their lives. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, laughter, beautiful places, and choosing each other over and over again. 🥂✨

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to attend an incredible Western portrait workshop, and it's still one of my favorite photography experiences of the year. From the authentic western styling to the beautiful locations and talented models, every detail created endless opportunities for creativity.

Workshops like this are about so much more than taking photos. They're a chance to learn, be inspired, try new techniques, and connect with other photographers who share the same passion.

Looking back through these photos reminds me why I love photography so much—the ability to tell a story, capture personality, and preserve a moment in time. Grateful for the experience and everyone who helped make it possible.

Last weekend I flew out to Seattle and attended my very first PhotoFest at Glazer's camera. 📸

Being surrounded by talented photographers, creative instructors, and hands-on learning opportunities was both inspiring and energizing. It's easy to get comfortable shooting the things you know, but events like this remind me how important it is to keep learning, experimenting, and growing as an artist.

One of my favorite parts was getting the chance to create images that are a little different from my usual work. From dramatic lighting to creative concepts, I came home with a camera full of inspiration and a renewed excitement for photography.

Here are some of the images I captured during the event. I hope you enjoy seeing a different side of my photography journey.

✨ Learning never stops. Creativity never stands still. And sometimes the best thing you can do is say yes to a new experience.

February has that soft, love-soaked glow, hearts everywhere, and magic in the air… which makes it the perfect time to snuggle a brand-new Valentine 💕📸

I recently had the sweetest newborn session with this precious baby girl. She arrived just in time to remind us that the truest form of love comes wrapped in blankets, with ten tiny fingers and a whole lot of heart.

Newborn sessions around Valentine’s Day always feel extra special, and this little miss absolutely stole my 💗

It’s been a little while since I’ve been in the studio, but today was a much anticipated welcome back. 🤍
I had the honor of photographing the sweetest newborn baby girl, and she was absolute perfection from start to finish. Tiny fingers, soft little stretches, and the calmest presence… the kind of session that slows everything down and reminds you how special these first days really are.

I’m so grateful to be trusted with moments like this and to help preserve memories that pass far too quickly. Today was a gentle reminder of why I love what I do. ✨ I just can't wait to get these photos edited 📸
