Today is National Day of the Cowboy, but for them, it's just another day.

They'll get up early to feed animals. Work in the heat or wind or rain. Ride rank horses until they are irreplaceable partners. Advocate for a way of life many romanticize but few support. And do it all knowing the work isn't finished when the sun goes down.

Today we celebrate the men and women who choose this life every day—not for the recognition, but because it's who they are.

Happy National Day of the Cowboy.
