My fiends, followers, past, current, and future clients - while I would love your business, this right here is a great reason to work with another photographer.
I had the privilege to know Sailor. In the short time I knew her one thing was clear - she was an amazing little girl. Her smile, love, and energy was contagious and she leaves behind so many who loves her dearly.
Hold your loved ones a little closer each day and consider working with this talented photographer who will be supporting the SPCA in Sailors memory.

As a photographer, I have the honor of documenting so many of life’s happiest moments. But then I am quickly reminded that photographs become something even more than memories-they become a way to hold onto the people we love when life is unimaginably unfair.
Today, surrounded by Sailor’s family, friends, teammates, and fellow peers, I found myself looking at photographs I had taken of a little girl whose light was so incredibly bright.
We had all been encouraged to dress in bright, vibrant colors because that’s exactly who Sailor was—a bright light. A little girl whose smile, spirit, and joy touched so many lives in ways that words simply can’t capture.
With the blessing of Sailor’s family, I will be offering 10-minute fundraising mini sessions for families, children, couples, pets, or anyone who would simply like to participate.
This isn’t about booking a photo session. It’s about coming together as a community to remember a beautiful life and to create something good in the midst of unimaginable loss.
Sailor loved all dogs, she enjoyed the sunsets, dancing amongst the flowers, and she couldn’t resist an ice cream date. These sessions are to remember and embrace this beautiful soul who left us way too soon. Bringing your dog is highly recommended, bring ice cream to enjoy for the session.
To Sailor’s family - thank you for allowing me to honor your amazing girl in this way. My heart continues to be with you.
Location: TBD in Kalamazoo Area near or at our property.
Date: Saturday August 8th
Fundraiser-based (100% of proceeds donated to the SPCA of Southwest Michigan in Sailor’s memory)
A minimum donation of $50 reserves your session, and every dollar donated will go directly to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Sailor’s memory. If you’re able to give more than the minimum donation, every additional dollar will go directly to the rescue and would be deeply appreciated.
Above all, I ask that you keep Sailor’s family in your thoughts and prayers. While I hope this fundraiser brings some good into the world in her honor, nothing can lessen the weight of the loss they are carrying.
Please pray for strength in the days ahead, for comfort in the moments that feel impossible, and that they may continue to feel surrounded by the love of their family, friends, and community. Sailor’s light touched so many lives, and together, we can help ensure that light continues to shine.
