I will never tire of shooting in this space.

The Fox Hollow is my favorite.

It’s simple. It’s neutral. It’s rustic. It's woodland. It’s backlit by the sun. It’s surrounded by nature. It's built by me and my husband to fulfill a spontaneous dream I concocted. And it’s mine. It’s home for me (it’s literally in my backyard), for my heart, and for my business. It represents my style in the best way possible. And it’s available to anyone who wants to book me and experience its magic along with my foxy photography skills.

If you’re expecting, in love, or loving on your tribe, The Fox Hollow just might be the perfect location for your next session. And I just opened booking for fall and Christmas mini sessions!

Fall Mini Sessions: October 17th
Christmas Mini Sessions: November 7th & 14th

One of the quiet fears so many mamas carry when they're expecting another baby is worrying how they could possibly love another child as much as their first.

If you've ever had that thought, you're not alone.

As I prepare to welcome baby #4, I've found myself reflecting on this again and again. And what I've learned through each pregnancy is that love doesn't divide, it grows.

Each of my children has brought something completely different into my life. Willow taught me to be kind to myself, to have patience with her and me, and to negate trying to be the perfect mom. Clover has shown me joy in the smallest moments, spontaneity, and to not be so serious all the time. And my sweet Woodsen has stretched my heart in ways I never imagined. His autism diagnosis and being nonverbal have shown me different ways to love in the silence. I don't love them more or less than each other. I love each of them for exactly who they are and for the unique way they've shaped me as their mom.

Motherhood isn't about having a limited amount of love to give. It's about discovering that your heart keeps making room for more.

If you're waiting to meet your second, third, fourth, or fifth baby and wondering if your heart can do it again... it can. And watching your family grow is one of the most beautiful parts of the journey.

I have the privilege of witnessing and documenting a mother's love with every session I do. Those moments are a beautiful reminder that love doesn't replace what came before, it builds on it.

Happy Birthday, America (and Bennett)!

I am so grateful to call this country my home. It may be a hot mess on most days but the freedoms we have here have given my family what it needs to live the beautiful life that we live.

Celebrate with family, love on your babies, pop all the fireworks, wave those flags with heart, and maybe eat a little cake too... because why not?!

I have never imagined having 4 children.

The decision to try for 1 more baby wasn't decided by us at all. By the time we had the conversation, we were already pregnant and didn't even know it yet. God knew our hearts before we said it out loud.

Having a child with autism forces you to consider the risks of having another child on the spectrum. Although we love our son, he consumes us in more ways than our other children. We wanted to ensure we were both on the same page to accept whatever challenges we may face with whatever plan God has for us.

With all that said, this sweet baby is thriving in the womb. And although we hesitated due to the risks of having another autistic child, we are excited to welcome him into our family and let God continue to write our story.

In an effort to preserve my energy for our birth, I will be taking maternity leave earlier than expected. I will continue to work through the month of July but will be taking leave starting August 1st through the end of September. The physical demands of newborn sessions and the increasing summer heat have made it increasingly difficult for me to do my job per my standards. I will still be lining up fall and Christmas mini sessions for October and November and I will also continue to book maternity and newborn sessions for July and fall. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to book a session.

And if you wouldn't mind, please say a prayer for my little family. We are hopeful for another positive home birth experience and cannot wait to meet our sweet little Fox #4 (who is currently still nameless).

So often I get asked why I have a 2-4 week turnaround time for a final photo gallery to be delivered.

And my response to that is this...

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and I take my time because I want your photos to look the way I would want mine to look if they were being delivered to me. Every image in your final gallery is carefully selected and individually edited by hand.

But I'm also a mom of three (with baby #4 arriving in August), a special needs mama, a wife, a nurse, and a photographer.

One of the greatest gifts of this career is the flexibility it gives me to wear all of those hats. Beyond photography, I spend countless hours supporting and advocating for women navigating infertility, loss, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. There is so much work that happens behind the scenes in my home, in my heart, and in my business, that never makes it to social media.

As excited as you are to receive your gallery, I promise I'm just as excited to deliver it. That's why I always try to send a few sneak peeks within the first week. I know how special these moments are, and I know how eager you are to relive them.

My turnaround time may not be the fastest, but every gallery receives the time, care, and attention it deserves.

So if you're in the thick of motherhood and looking for a photographer who isn't perfect, but is doing her best to love her family well, serve her clients wholeheartedly, and somehow juggle all the things at once, I might just be your girl.

Milestone and cakesmash sessions are some of my favorites because of what they represent.

I get to see your babies grow from those tiny newborn days into their big personalities… but I also get to see you grow as a mom. And that part means just as much to me.

My business was built around supporting moms beyond the first 6 weeks postpartum, because let’s be honest, that’s just the beginning. The months (and years) after that come with just as many changes, challenges, and wins.

Getting to be a small part of your journey and capture these stages along the way is something I don’t take lightly. Supporting you and your baby is truly what I feel God has called me to do.

If your little sweet pea is nearing their first birthday and you want a neutral earthy session with a simple and natural theme and your babe as the focus of the images, I think I might be perfect for you!

As a mom to 3+ children with two part time jobs, I am no stranger to the financial struggle that comes with our economy at the moment.

As we prepare to welcome our newest little one this August, I’m leaning into community, creativity, and making this season work in a way that feels good for everyone.

If my photography isn’t in your budget, I might just be willing to negotiate a trade in services (because we aren’t above bartering here):

• house cleaning
• organizing
• massage (especially prenatal)
• haircuts (for me and my girls)
• landscaping/yardwork
• meal prepping (especially for August–October; )
• baby supplies (I love thrifting)
• anything your heart desires if our family has a need for it

Our family has been so blessed by friends and clients. I've traded senior and family sessions for cleaning services (especially while I am pregnant and trying to avoid chemical exposure). I've traded a milestone/cakesmash session with one of my sweet newborn client families for all the breastfeeding supplies I could need. I've even traded sessions with other photographers that I absolutely adore for maternity, newborn, and birth photography! There's no shame in my game.

So if you’ve been wanting to book a session but needed a different option, this might be your sign to reach out. Let’s create something beautiful together! It seriously never hurts to ask!

Opening up something that’s incredibly close to my heart…

For the next few months, I’ll be offering limited rentals of The Fox Hollow, my little woodland space my husband and I built together from the ground up, with a whole lot of hard work, late nights, and love poured into every detail.

Tucked away in the trees, The Fox Hollow features an elevated platform surrounded by natural greenery, vines, wood textures, and soft florals... all designed to create that earthy, foxy, woodland feel that defines my photography style.

While this space is deeply personal to me, this season of life is also bringing something new and beautiful as we prepare to welcome our 4th baby this August. I’d love for other photographers to be able to create magic here while also helping support our growing family.

This space is perfect for:
• Maternity sessions
• Mama & Me sessions
• Family sessions
• Senior sessions
• Mini sessions

Availability will be limited, and I’ll be selective to ensure the space is respected and cared for.

If you’re interested in renting The Fox Hollow or want more details, send me a message. I’d love to connect!

*And thank you to Alexis for making The Fox Hollow look so dreamy for her senior session this past week!

Oh hey, I’m here!

So many have reached out to check on me and I am happy to report that I am still here, still photographing, and surviving my 5th pregnancy with our sweet baby boy! We are officially 22 weeks with baby #4 and could not be more excited for his arrival in August!

In the midst of growing a baby, I also started a new job back in November. This job was a complete God thing that fell into my lap and it was simply too good to pass up. I have an amazing boss who understands my chaotic life being pregnant, having 3 kids, and caring for our autistic son. And being back in nursing has filled my heart so much. So what am I doing that is so amazing? I’m a paramedical examiner for life insurance policies. It’s incredibly flexible with my family schedule, son’s therapy schedule, and my photography sessions. It’s been fun getting to socialize with clients, get out of the house, and poke people (I loooove phlebotomy)!

Aside from being incredibly sick with a respiratory virus for nearly a month, life has been good. And I’m incredibly grateful the photo bookings have kept coming despite my absence on social media. We have a lot of finances to cover with a baby on the way. Please keep them coming as I do plan to work up until my due date!

So that’s the tea… I’m just giving myself grace, pouring into my family, working two jobs, and growing a baby. Easy peezy!

And here’s a peek at our sweet nameless boy at our anatomy scan last weekend.

Postpartum is not six weeks.

So often, women walk into their 6-week OB appointment and are given the “all clear” to resume normal daily activity as if their body didn’t just spend 9 months growing a human and then endure one of the most life-altering, body-transforming experiences possible to bring that baby earthside.

The truth is postpartum recovery takes at least 12 months.

Here’s what we don’t talk about enough:

• Postpartum bleeding can last 8+ weeks.
• Anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, and identity shifts can surface anytime in the first year and beyond (ask me how I know).
• Hormones can take 6–12 months to stabilize.
• Postpartum hair loss often peaks around 4 months and can take another 6–12 months to regulate.
• Abdominal muscle separation can persist for a year or longer.
• The pelvic floor can take 6–12 months to recover, especially after a vaginal birth or for mothers who have had multiple babies.

A woman’s body does incredible work. And healing is not linear. There is no deadline for recovery. Period.

Those Fresh 48 hours are the start of a transformation that continues long after the hospital bracelets come off.

Our healthcare system may step back after six weeks. But you are not meant to do this alone. Beyond documenting your journey, it’s my mission to support and advocate for you through pregnancy, birth, and the full arc of postpartum, however long your healing takes.

Let’s redefine postpartum.
You deserve care that lasts longer than six weeks.
