We live in a country where we don't have 2000 year old buildings or even 1000 year old landmarks such as they do in Europe or other parts of the world. But we do have many times an abundance of scenes that take us back sixty seventy hundred years ago. Many of these places exist just as they were back then because the owners choose to keep the memories alive by simply evaluating things as to function and form and although it may not be a working telephone as in this picture, but it does show life and time's gone by. Enjoy and remember when you see things from the past, life does come full circle. This old store scene still exists at Heard's market on highway 63 just outside of Hoxie AR. All the locals know it and Love Bob and Shirley Heard and son Rob who can be found there daily enjoying the present and still embracing the past.

Last night was all about fireworks and that is as it should be on the 4th but I did notice that God had a firework going on of His own. The moon put on a show behind the clouds that were framed by the trees in our yard. See if you agree.
