Two friends turned their love for pickles into an $8.5 million business! 🥒💰

Leah Marcus and Yasaman Bakhtiar met while studying at the University of Southern California. In 2023, they started posting pickle videos on TikTok, sharing something they both loved.

As more people watched their videos, they saw a chance to turn their hobby into a real business.

Instead of keeping their idea as a fun side project, they took a big risk. They left their jobs and launched Hot Girl Pickles under their company, Good Girl Snacks, in February 2024.

Their pickles soon reached store shelves at Whole Foods Market and Erewhon across the United States. 🛒

The business continued to grow, and the founders raised $3 million from investors, bringing the company's reported value to $8.5 million.

Their journey shows that a successful business doesn't always start with a complicated idea. Sometimes, it begins with a simple passion, a few social media videos, and the courage to take a chance.

What started as two friends sharing pickle videos became a business dream come true. 🚀🥒

A White House document about the future of “Super Intelligence” is making headlines but an unexpected typo stole the spotlight. 😳

On September 29, President Donald Trump hosted top tech leaders, including Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, Sundar Pichai, and Dario Amodei, at the White House for discussions surrounding a new AI agreement.

But social media users noticed something unusual in the signed document. Beneath Trump’s signature, his title reportedly read “President of the Unites States” instead of “President of the United States.”

The small spelling mistake quickly caught the internet’s attention, turning a major AI announcement into a viral grammar moment. 😂

AI was the main topic, but a simple typo became the headline. 👀

What if a dirty car could become a work of art? 🎨🚗

In Antalya, Turkey, artist Alper Kocabiyik turns dusty car windows into beautiful drawings. He cannot hear traffic or street sounds because he is hearing-impaired, but he sees something others often ignore: a blank canvas.

Alper has loved painting since he was four years old. Instead of using paint and brushes, he uses dust, cotton swabs, and tissues to create detailed scenes. He draws city skylines, historic buildings, and beautiful views of Istanbul and the Bosphorus.

His mother says Alper paints on several cars every day. When he sees a dusty vehicle, he simply cannot resist creating something on it. Most car owners are surprised and happy when they return and discover his artwork.

But there is one special thing about his art: it never lasts. Rain, wind, or a car wash can erase everything. For a short time, however, an ordinary dirty car becomes a moving gallery on the streets.

He owns millions in property, gets a comfortable pension, yet spends almost nothing on food. 🏠🥫

Heinz B., an 80-year-old man from Darmstadt, Germany, owns at least 11 properties and receives more than €3,000 each month in pension payments.

Despite his wealth, Heinz lives a very simple life. He told the German newspaper Bild that he spends less than €5 a month on food. He often eats food that would otherwise be thrown away and only buys a few basic items when needed.

His neighbors sometimes leave food near its expiration date outside his home. In return, Heinz gives them useful furniture and other items he finds on the street. 🪑

His extreme saving habits even extend to property. Reports say he recently bought another property for around €700,000 in cash, leaving only about €15 in his bank account until his next pension payment.

He never married or had children, and when asked who would inherit his wealth, he simply said he had no idea. 💶

A Tempe, Arizona, Grubhub driver was arrested during a traffic stop for reckless driving and racing—but his pizza still had somewhere to go. 🚓🍕

Officers found the customer’s order in his car and decided to finish the delivery themselves. The customer was stunned when two officers showed up at her door with the pizza. 😳

One officer explained, “Your Grubhub guy got arrested, so we still delivered your pizza.” They even joked that it should still be warm. 😂

Tempe Police later shared the bodycam footage, and the unusual delivery quickly went viral. The driver was arrested, but the pizza made it home. 🍕

New York City Is Already Paying People More to Shovel Snow — Up to $45 an Hour.❄️

Winter is still months away, but NYC is getting ready early.

The city has raised the pay for its Emergency Snow Shovelers from $19.14 to $30 an hour, while overtime will increase from $28.71 to $45 an hour after 40 hours in a week.

The changes come after a record season in which more than 7,800 New Yorkers signed up. Alongside sanitation workers, they helped clear 135,000 crosswalks, 34,000 bus stops and 29,000 fire hydrants during last winter’s storms.

The city is also starting registration earlier, offering a paid four-hour orientation and aiming to get workers paid within two weeks.

So while New York may still be enjoying summer temperatures, the city is already preparing for the next big snowfall.

Imagine getting paid $30 an hour to shovel snow — and $45 if you hit overtime. ❄️💰
