We went for a drive in the country to see what we could see. The breeze was cool and the sun was bright. Black-eyed Susans were everywhere! The moss on the trees was glowing in the sunshine. Loved it! My favorite kind of day.

This is an annual Mardi Gras Celebration held on Brushly Bayou. It's just friends and family getting in whatever floats, decorating it for Mardi Gras and going down the bayou and enjoying each others company. Lots of beads and great food for all - on the water and on land. It's a great time.
I lost the pics and just recently found them so here they are. Enjoy!
