I've been putting off and reluctantly teaching myself Photoshop for the past three years. In late April, I attended Texas School of Professional Photography - Addison, TX. I took the Photoshop, 0-60 by Michael Collins. It was a really great class. I was able to sit next to friends from last years class and we had a little too much fun while learning Photoshop. Thank you Michael Collins for your patience with us. We appreciate you.

The Friday before we were to leave for Africa, I received a call asking for a Media Day. I'm so glad that we were able to accommodate prior to leaving. We had such an amazing time with these Lady Eagles Athletes and we are wishing them the best of luck this week as they work toward the UIL 5A Division 2 Championships. They take on the Lake Creek team this week.

I'm still trying to get caught up from the first quarter of 2026. We made an "Once in a Lifetime" trip to South Africa with Don Dickson, from Texas School of Professional Photography Safari, and Kevin Dooley's amazing company Idube Photo Safaris.

From Johannesburg, we stopped in Lesedi Cultural Center for the evening. It was an amazing experience, with absolutely amazing performers sharing their culture, ancestry with us.

This morning I am putting the final touches on the Men's Georgetown Eagles Soccer photos from their Media Day. In addition to the standard individual photos, I was able to sport portraits or "Sportraits" for the Varsity Men's Players who could stick around until the end. Here is just one example and I'm obsessed.

I am looking some someone who would like to be my model and has access to a larger dog breed.

Last January I did a family photo shoot on a wooded path. I got a very Little Red Riding Hood vibe and I’ve purchased a LOVELY red velvet cape from Ukraine. It is long, slowly and stunning.

The photo below is my inspiration, but I’m thinking just slightly noir… more Grimm’s Fairytales than Disney Princesses.
