Happy Birthday to one of my heroes, and one of the strongest men I’ve ever known! 💪🏾 

God-fearing, humble, and blessed with a laugh that lit up every room. Not only did he pass down his name, but also gifted me my first karaoke machine.... and the rest is history!! 🖤

More importantly he shared countless stories from the 40s and 50s of life as a young sharecropper in Eastern Carolina.
