Hi friends, long time no see! There's a lot I could say here, but I'm going to keep it brief. Ravioli Rose is, unsurprisingly, retired. It has been for some time, I just didn't want to say the words out loud. It was a blast while it lasted.

I'm not giving up on conventions or photography, I do want to jump back into it but that will require some serious hardware upgrades. If/when that happens, I will be working under a new name. Fresh start, and all that. I won't announce the new name just yet but those who are curious are welcome to reach out on my personal page.

In the mean time, with everything going on in the social media world, I've decided it's time to lay this page to rest. I haven't decided when, but it will be soon. I know some of you are still using my photos for profile pics & whatnot - you're welcome to save those and keep using them, or ask me for the full-size files. A lot of the originals have been lost to a hard drive a crash, but any I still have, I'm willing to send to anyone who wants them.

Why am I giving this warning, and not just going dark? Well, call it a trauma response. I know a lot of us remember when Maboroshi's Rising Sun page suddenly disappeared, and we all mourned the loss of thousands of photos and memories. While I don't even have a fraction of the following (or photo library) he had, I still didn't want to disappear without warning. I'll post again when I've decided on an official exit date. Until then, let's all just keep surviving together, and may tomorrow be a better day.

We just found out that Parker, the greyhound pictured here, might have bone cancer, and may only have a few months to live. He's not showing any signs yet outside of some occasional pain and discomfort, still as happy and rambunctious as ever, and I wanted to capture that while I still could, in case it does turn out to be true. So I spent about half a day with them, shooting both dogs that live there as well as the other two that came for a visit.

The dogs pictured are:
Greyhound - Parker, 7 years old
Australian Shepherd Mix - Lincoln, 9 years old
Chihuahua/Yorkie Mix - Chloe
Chihuahua puppy - Joy, ~2 months old

For our final Black Cosplayer Spotlight, it's another stage shot. This time, it's Iori from King of Fighters, in Metrocon 2011's Anime Human Chess Match. The convention photos so long overdue, that I really can't give a proper excuse for why they're so late, other than a long string of bad luck and distractions. I do not remember who a lot of the characters are, but if people would like to let me know in the comments I'll update each photo as I find out.

Also, at the time there were two photographers in Ravioli Rose, but one is no longer involved, so I can't say much for her photos, but it would be wrong to withhold them from the people in them.
