choosing your wedding photographer takes a lot of trust. i understand the flow of a wedding day and am prepared to adapt as needed. my goal is for you to have the time of your life. leave the rest to me!

i am an insured wedding vendor who always has a backup plan: at least two of every piece of equipment, rain gear, and 5 external hard drives (just counted them on my desk to be sure). i’m type A, but the excitement of a wedding day fuels my creativity. not to mention, getting to celebrate with you makes this the best job in the world!

time for my reintroduction now that i’m a city girl!
🤍🦢🪩🎞️🌃

my name is carly and i have the best job in the world! i’m so glad i get to document so many beautiful moments for my clients. this job doesn’t feel like work to me. i’m blessed to be a storyteller that you trust with your memories.

my approach:
1. true and timeless photography to treasure for years to come. i want you to look back on these photos as happy memories, like when you hear an old song or smell a perfume you used to wear every day.
2. when i’m photographing you, i want you to feel your best in front of my camera. i’m your hype woman and cheerleader! at the same time, i want your photos to feel like you: prompts over poses, no harsh filters or heavy retouching (no shame to photogs who have a different style! that’s what makes our medium so special)

my standards
1. acceptance! everyone is welcome at carly sirven photography. i pride myself in having a diverse clientele and celebrating everyone, no matter what you look like, who you love or how you identify.
2. open communication! never be afraid to text me with an outfit question, send your pinterest board, or share an idea. i’m working for you and i want you to love every aspect of your experience with me.
3. quality & transparency! i give 110% to every photo i shoot and edit. every image is edited by me, not an AI bot. while i’m embracing new technology, i want my clients to know that a human and an artist is putting her all into their memories.

hi 😁 back with some scotland content i still haven’t posted! this was my favorite shoot of the week and it challenged me to do something a lot of photogs avoid: shoot in direct sun! but i love how these turned out and it encouraged me to try out different types of lighting scenarios. during this shoot, the sun went away and the overcast light definitely changed the vibe of the photos. i’ll show you more of those soon 🫧

also life update, i’ve officially made it to philly! if you’re in the PA, jersey, nyc or dc area, id love to have you as my client. i’m treating every day here as a new opportunity to location scout and i can’t wait to show you what i find! 🦅🦅🦅
