I was driving home from an event tonight, and much to my surprise, Emily was still painting in the dark on her last evening here. Watching her tackle this revamp was nothing short of amazing (and she told me she pulled an all nighter last night to pull it off), and getting the chance to capture some shots in the night was a really fun challenge. Thank you to Bright Walls and Jackson School of the Arts for bringing a little bit of the Bright Walls magic back to Jackson this week!

It was a beautiful Saturday evening at McCourtie Park to capture updated family photos for the Madden family! Proof that I'm not always only photographing hot air balloons, but there *is* a kick ass hot air balloon pilot in these photos :)

Wow - I am such a fan of headshots taken outdoors in natural light! Depot Town always provides such versatile backgrounds that give photos such different vibes and stunning light.

Time spent photographing your friends is really great too! Nina and I met in college, and I have had the pleasure of photographing a handful of her life events. She recently completed her PhD and is taking big steps on her journey into a new career. I am so incredibly proud of her and honored to know her 💜.
