There’s something special about getting to photograph people who are truly passionate about what they do.

I recently spent some time with Emma, owner of Emma Brown , capturing the heart behind her business. She grows medicinal mushrooms that are carefully crafted into tinctures designed to support everything from stress relief and inflammation to gut, skin, bone health, and overall longevity.

It was fascinating to learn more about the process, and I even got to take home a Lion’s Mane mushroom to cook with! 🍄

As a self-proclaimed sammich lover, I’m always on the hunt for one that really stands out. My aunt invited me to lunch at pronto_by_iozzos , and I’m so glad she did!

I ordered the Erice, and wow… absolutely delicious. It’s served on their house-made focaccia, and every bite was packed with flavor. If sandwiches are your thing, this one needs to be on your list.

They also offer homemade soups, fresh salads, handcrafted espresso drinks, wine, and Peroni beers, making it a great spot whether you’re grabbing lunch, meeting up with friends, or just looking for a cozy place to relax.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and exactly the kind of place that brings a community together. I’ll definitely be back to try another sammich!

I recently stopped by the newly opened Lille Bønne Community Living Room in Fletcher Place and had a delicious vanilla iced latte. It was great meeting the owner Abby and seeing the vision behind this cozy cafe in a gorgeous Danish church. If you’re looking for a welcoming spot with great coffee and community be sure to check them out and support this new local business!
