ADDICTED CHAOS

A long dark road filled with misery and pain, the life of an addict is far from sane. Fix after fix I tell the dead, chasing that high hoping to get ahead. Hitting rock bottom I decide to change, what took so long only I'm to blame. The demons of my past will no longer show, addiction is all I knew but no longer know. I'm done with it all it's got to go

ACCEPTANCE

I've accepted the fact that I am an addict, after all of the chaos I have finally had it!
I don't know where it is that I should begin
I've burnt all my bridges, down to kin.
With admittance claimed in full, I work through recovery obtaining new tools.
I found a sponsor who is so much like me
The hunger for change finally set me free.
With a new look on life I begin to soar
Higher than the skies, beyond the moon and more!
No limitations to the things I can do, being sober is the new life I choose

GOODBYE TO ADDICTION

Goodbye to my addiction, we are through.
We've had mostly bad times, and this I can't do.
Life's too precious to let it go, I'm worth more than that and I'll let you know.
With my lifestyle in a new transition, I set myself up with a new position.
I may be addicted forever, but I'll never forever be yours.
I now have dreams and so much more!
It's time to spread these wings, it's time to soar!
Goodbye to my addiction you'll hold me no more!
