Engagement portraits are one of my favorite shoots because I'm filled in on all the wedding details and get to feel a piece of their excitement.

A weekend of good food and even better company in KC with a dear friend. I've been wanting to capture Cascade Hotel, Kansas City, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel since staying there last year. Glad I finally took the time. Every corner of this hotel is well designed.

Last year I came across the sweetest idea and I wanted to share with you guys.

After Christmas, stack all the cards you received on the kitchen table. Each night during dinner pick a card from the pile and pray over that family.

I love this for so many reasons!
