Mad Cat Kreations A mixture of the beauty of nature and animals with the mad ideas of skeleton fairies and creepy critters. We all need a bit of madness in this world.

I'm a Zoology graduate from Michigan State University with a passion for wild cats. I moved from MI to AL after I graduated where I got to experiment and explore my love for the arts. It started out as something I did just for fun, taking photos when we would go to the zoos and parks, but it was something that made me truly happy. After awhile I decided to open Mad Cat Kreations on etsy and start

selling at local places in Huntsville, AL. From there I started playing around with painting and drawing which I then decided to add to my shop as well. I specialize in a mixture of "cute and creepy" artwork and crafts with a love for Halloween and the macabre. The shop has an Instagram and Etsy account as well.

Hello loves!

So this isn't a happy shop update. After thinking it over and a lot of talking, I've decided that I will not be selling at the Madison Street Festival this year due to my health. I'm not able to do a whole lot right now without hurting, shoot I can't stand or walk for long either, and this lovely AL heat just makes my symptoms worse and makes me absolutely miserable. So with that and the stress of trying to get ready for the show, I've decided to take it easy for the rest of the year and focus on my health. I have to get surgery in November, so the the Etsy shop will be closing on October 31st so I can focus on my recovery and not worry about orders. With that, I wont be selling at any more shows this year but I still plan to get back into shows next year, with our first one being the Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo in April. I appreciate all of your understanding and for supporting the shop, and I will see you all next year.

Hello loves

So this year I will not be selling at MidSummer Market, Art Sunday in Scottsboro, or Nerdy Noel. I'm hoping to sell at Madison Street Festival, but that will be the only other show this year. I have been dealing with some health issues and trying to take care of my mental health, and in order to do that, I will need to step back from the shop. I'm not going into detail on what exactly is wrong, this isn't the place for that, but I need to put myself first right now. I will have to get major surgery done this fall and recovery will take a couple weeks before I do some stuff again but a full 12 weeks to be fully healed. The etsy shop will still be open until I have my surgery and then it will be closed for the rest of the year while I recover. I'm hoping next year that I will feel much better and that we will be back with our normal show schedule.

With that, thank you all for being understanding, supportive, and just awesome people.

We are sponsoring this amazing event that is next week Saturday, June 20, at Lowe Mill. This is an amazing event and helps out several rescues and kitties look for the forever homes. Hello loves!

That is a wrap for the 2026 Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo! Thank you all for the amazing weekend, stopping by to talk, and supporting our shop, it always means so much to us! We had a wonderful time talking eith everyone, seeing friends, and seeing some awesome special guests. Also thank you Jeremy for letting us come back for another year, thank you to all the volunteers and security, and thank you VBC. We can't wait for 2027 Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo, which will be April 16-18 2027! It will be bigger, literally, they are adding the North Hall, and it will be a blast like always!
