I am opening up my books to take on photography clients again! I’m beyond excited. I’ve been learning with some cameras from the Sony Cinema line. It has changed the way I work with light.

Do you seek accountability and motivation for your art? At Tap Tap Tintype, we provide just that. It’s a space for artists and mindful individuals eager to weave art into their daily lives.

Whether it’s creating, preparing, experiencing, or exploring the stories of artists, it’s a beautifully simple practice. In the past, I’ve held poetry contests, shared prompts, told stories, and designed my peers’ poems.

I engaged in this every day from 2020-2023. Back then, it felt effortless. Even with two babies, the world seemed to move at a gentler pace. Today, it’s a challenge. Maintaining this practice is a dance, but it work because it remains open, flexible, and reasonable.

"A Cicada's Cry"

Buried deep.
For years.
Without sunlight.
Without applause.

And then,
a scream.

Not for pain.
But for arrival.

That’s what I am.
A sound so raw,
it splits the silence
people got too comfortable with.

They say I’m loud.
But they never asked
what it took to survive
in the dark that long.
