Photographed this inside the old Dessert Inn Motel in Las Vegas featured in the movies True Romance and Thelma and Louise. There was an actual velvet, Elvis painting from the 70s hanging on the wall and the room actually smelled like old spice cologne.

There wasn’t a concierge, but there were some tumbleweeds parked out front.

H-Town @ night going over Scott st on 1-45. Lucky to get one sharp bouncing down the Frwy. Road is blurred naturally with the shutter and speed going down 59 ramp, lol. Turned sky purple to honor King H-Town.

Not Ai- Shot this in Herman Park in the afternoon light with my D4.

Love how the highlights sweep off the top of the foliage on the left side of the photo like feathers into the grooms hair, leading your eyes into the kiss. Do you see the golden ratio swirl? Photographers will know. Ai can’t touch this. Foliage in the foreground completes this and adds a 3D perspective.

Flower in brides ear was picked off the ground and was the perfect finishing touch. A gift. The painterly effect was achieved using healing brush technique in PS.

Not Ai.

Kansas City st photo was captured with an iPhone SE and processed using Adobe Lightroom.

Any photo can be epic with what ever tool you have at your disposal. I shot my first photograph using a modified shoebox for a Boy Scout photography merit badge. The photo was a sunrise of an American Flag flying above a scouts tent at the National Scout Jamboree, FT AP Hill, Summer of 1981 and was featured in the National Scout Boys Life Magazine.

It wasn’t until several years later, I was approached by the coordinator of the Bridal Extravaganza Show, Linda Miller, 1998, who saw a bridal portrait I shot in the Houston Chronicle newspaper and invited me to participate in her 1998 Bridal Summer Show.

Booked the whole year in one weekend, It was a complete game changer that led my life into Wedding Photography.
