It was such an honor to be asked to document Sarah + Mitch's special day! I have taken a step back from sessions but so glad she asked me to be there. The stormy weather held off and they were able to celebrate their day with their closest friends and family. These are just a few of my favorites.🤍

When I was a little girl- my number one was the great GB! "Rodeo" was my jam and I strummed on my guitar until I had blisters I loved it so much- especially yelling out "the damned old rodeo". My parents still talk about my love for it and I love those stories- because my grandma is part of them.
I love stories and how pieces of your history can be included in an image to tell a new story. I love that Waylon gets to wear special pieces from his grandfather in sessions like these- so very special.🖤

As you all know- I am a sucker for all things b+w. There's just something about it- how you can feel the emotion and hear the laugher. And this sweet family's session was full of all that! It made me miss my Mawmaw a lot. I would love to be able to document more grandparents this year. Those moments captured are everything🥹
