Thank you to the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country and the freedoms we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is not just a holiday or an excuse for a long weekend; it’s a day of remembrance for those who never made it home. Today, I reflect with gratitude and remember the sacrifices made by so many for our country. May we never forget them. ❤️🤍💙

Looking back on this experience from 2014, I’m reminded just how impactful that trip was for me. I had the incredible honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, along with touring many war memorials and veterans memorials throughout Washington D.C. and Gettysburg.

Walking through those places filled with history, sacrifice, loss, and bravery is something that stays with you forever.

Today, and every day, we remember and honor them. 🇺🇸

Lighting changes everything 📸✨

I often get questions about the lighting equipment I use and whether it really makes much of a difference. YES YES YES!!!

Lighting can completely transform a photo. These photos were taken in the same location within minutes of each other. The difference comes from added lighting and camera settings used.

I absolutely love natural light photos, but I also really appreciate the creativity and skill behind learning and using off-camera lighting. 🤍
