I am honestly most inspired by my very own memories, by the childhood I was so lucky to have; barns at the end of old dirt roads, mason jars and bare feet, grassy fields on a hazy summer eve, rusty old pickup trucks and barbed wire fences. I couldn’t even make that up if I tried… it’s truth and it’s divine. I believe we are all here for a reason and I’m so inspired by people and their stories (th

at is very much my mom in me). I want to hear what you have to say, see you’re beautiful families but more importantly I want to capture what God sees. And just as the sun lets out its last good sigh and slips beyond the horizon I’ll leave my mark on the world… documenting your sun soaked families, illustrating your memories and telling your stories.

So much of my very own heart is captured and pouring outwardly in this photograph. We RAN to this spot and frame after frame unfolded right before our very eyes within a matter of 10 minutes (tops!). My own toddler on my hip too as I was shooting and she was melting down. ....The mosquitoes were eating us alive but oh it was so very worth it.
..then we darted back to our vehicles carrying our babies in mushy wet grass trying not to sink to our heels. 🤣
