Love Struck Photography Published natural light photographer specializing in Elopements, Weddings, Couples, and Boudoir. Hello! I’m Heather, the face behind Love Struck Photography.

I graduated from the University of Houston in 2012 with a Major in Art and a Minor in Business. I am a wife, a mother, a high school teacher and a photographer, and I am passionate about all of the hats that I get to wear in this thing known as life! I became intrigued with photography and Photoshop my junior year of college when I enrolled in a photography class, but it wasn't until 2015 when my

youngest son was born, that I absolutely fell in love with the art of it! I remember the day that I purchased my first camera as if it were yesterday, y’all! That little Canon EOS was constantly in my hands, and my kids were always my test subjects. I dove in headfirst and acquired much knowledge about Lightroom and Photoshop to the point where editing and my camera became my third child. My education in this amazing field continues daily. I attend photography workshops, posing workshops, I am a part of a Houston photography team, and I'm always learning about the latest photo trends on the internet! After nearly two years of taking photographs of my sons, friends and family members, I decided to pursue my passion! Three years ago, I started Pretty Poppies Photography. This part of my life was bittersweet - I was able to create a name for myself, watch myself grow as an individual and a photographer, become more educated with my business background, and watch all of my hard work come to light. In 2019, I was published in two different Houston articles. I was deemed a by Houston Voyage Magazine and Voted one of the 12 best Houston portrait photographers by Peerspace. Over the years, my business began to grow. After much deliberation I made the decision to bring on new equipment, hire second shooters and rebrand the company to what you now know as Love Struck Photography. I have enjoyed every single second of this beautiful journey! I am extremely passionate about capturing my clients, and I value the opportunity to be able to come into your life and capture these special moments, create relationships, and make beautiful art with you. I specialize in Weddings, Elopements, Engagements, Couples and Boudoir Photography. I'd love to capture your special memories that will last a lifetime. Despite different views and walks of life, a crowd of over 20,000 stood united and marched peacefully down McKinney Street on June 14, 2025. The chants echoed through downtown Houston as a massive, peaceful show of resistance. It was a day full of energy and emotion. A day that I will never forget. ❤️✊🏼
