Four of my biggest pet peeves as a photographer are
1) The obvious "Omg iPhone has such a gr8 camera, look at my photography album! I took a super artistic picture of grass."
2) People who get so much credit as photographers when all they really are is a good picture taker, like the portrait studios in malls and Wal-Marts. Completely lacking in creativity or anything that I really consider real photography... Just a well taken photo. As opposed to the kind of people who think a person's head should be centered in the photo, cropping out the person's entire body.
3) When people I know go to other people for photos. Hi, I would do much better than your "professional" for free, or much cheaper.
4) OVER EDITING. I cannot stress this enough, it looks just like those kids in my first pet peeve mentioned. It's tacky and really not flattering. I absolutely HATE seeing "photographers" who can't even reasonably edit a photo without making it look like it was done on Photobucket, or is an Instagram filter. (Is it???)
