Few nights ago from the backyard.

I watched some of Artimis II as they traveled around the moon - amazed at the beauty. From the science that allowed the brave scientists to go further than previous flights, to how amazing is God that He created all of what we see daily and also the vastness of space.

Just my observation.

Black-Belly Whistling Ducks

They remind me of cartoon ducks. How they balance on the power lines baffles me.

Corn is their favorite, but will accept “normal” bird seed if they have to. 🙄 Enjoy when the grass hasn’t been cut yet. I’ve found them pushing grass down and then resting in rotation. Blue jays can attempt to dive bomb them, but no reaction is given. Dove eat alongside them in peace.

When night falls they go back to the bayou to sleep.

Just a really neat bird in the yard. ❤️

God comes through for us. May not be in our timing. But His timing is perfection.

I’ve given the squirrels their own feeding area. With. The fence so it’s safer for them. They tend to like peanuts and seeds, so the feed is just for them.
