Wunna Run Club 5K — Houston

Last year my girl called me with less than 24 hours’ notice to pull up and capture moments for during the Wunna Run Club.

These ended up sitting in my camera roll for a while.

Over the past year I stepped back from social media and spent time getting clear about how I want to move as a photographer and creative.

What I keep coming back to is this, I love capturing moments, but I also love building the environments where those moments happen.

So this year I’m leaning deeper into brand activations and experiential events. Sometimes I’ll be behind the camera, and sometimes I’ll be producing the experience itself.

Either way, I’m here to capture the energy.

Microsoft Afrotech Recap ✨

Y’all!! I did a thing with my favorite people over at ! 🎉 I had the incredible honor of capturing the BAM Microsoft reception and JAM with BAM during the AfroTech Conference, and let me tell you—it was a vibe. From the energy to the connections, it was such a fun and inspiring experience to document.

This was my first time being in the .tech atmosphere, and Houston was PACKED! While I didn’t attend the conference itself, this event was the closest I got—and it did not disappoint. The networking energy was unmatched, and I loved meeting Microsoft employees from all over who came to be part of it all.

A huge shoutout to for trusting me to capture these moments for BAM. Y’all might as well put me on the team at this point, lol! And last but not least for 2nd shooting. You are the best! ✨

I’m already looking forward to next year, working with this amazing team again, and collaborating with even more brands to document such monumental moments.

Fun fact: I’m a tech girlie myself 🤭 With a B.S. in Computer Science from an HBCU 🎓, being part of spaces like this truly feels full circle.

I love creating just to create. To see what I can achieve. To push my own creative boundaries.

When I create opportunities to shoot something just because I take all of the pressure off and allow myself to just be and see what happens.

I truly love how these images came out. My girl BODIED this shoot. (Sis really a model 🤭)

Film Fridays 🎞️
Camera: Canon AE-1
Film: 400d

Story time: so I had recently gotten a new film camera after breaking the ones I had (that’s a story for another day lol) and decided I was going to take BTS images for a shoot I was supporting .lecompte on and when I tell you it was giving me the blues. The shutter wouldn’t fire and when it did it was extremely random. The counter was not working so I had no idea how many shots I took or what I had left 🫠 but I kept shooting with it knowing this entire roll was going to be experimental. lol

Fast forward, I ended up getting a whole new camera. Shoutout to for introducing me to because he saved my life. He confirmed the camera was indeed defected. so once I got film out of the old camera I decided to see what it created and I was in Aweeee.

I’m so happy with what I got. It was unexpected and beautiful. 🥹 so I wanted to share them with yall.

So you girl is back in her film era and I love it🤭 it’s definitely a new skill even though I’ve been a photographer for over 8 years.
