It’s “Sick Season”.
There’s about to be an influx of people in all large cities around The Gulf Coast.
Lack of food, clean water, dry clothes, no money, depression etc, will cause a domino effect on all communities in the south. Houston will be one of them. There’s nothing wrong with a little extra vitamins in your body.
This isn’t medical advice. This is just an idea. Everyone take care of your families this season. I’m not addressing a pandemic of illness, I’m addressing a “supply and demand” issue.
Please be kind to the people around you when you are out. People are hurting. People are scared. People don’t know who to trust. The crime rate is up and it’s not always the “Boogie Man”. Sometimes it’s your little brother who got into a fight. Or, it’s your father who had a heart attack from stress. Maybe it’s your child…
Talk to your kids. New children will be coming to their school. They might be sad. Maybe write a welcome letter and set it on their desk…
Take only what you need. I’m noticing more empty shelves at the store. The worker told me, they can’t get the delivery routes to stay consistent. We waste so much food and water. Let’s do better.
We have to stop fighting with each other and start talking to each other. We are not stupid people, we have access to copious amounts of educational tools to learn new skills. Let’s bring it back home to our communities. We’re hurting. If you don’t hurt right now, if you’re not feeling sadness for your community. If you are here to argue then I am praying for your soul. YES I’M FU***NG PRAYING!
1.) stop what I’m doing
2.) breath deeply 5 times
3.) think only about the pain in the world right now and to send your unadulterated love to someone suffering at this moment.
4.) go about my day…
I’m begging you, dudes. Please….
