Since I was a child I've had an obsession with cameras and promoted myself as "Family Historian". I took it upon myself to capture every event via photograph and video, because younger me strongly believed that memories should never be forgotten. As I grew, so did that belief, and the realization that not everyone was chronicling life's moments, whether big or small, hit me. Photography goes beyond owning a camera and shooting it. It is the only medium that allows us to capture not only the image of a time, but also the feeling, and the essence. As nostalgic creatures, we need that. I want to ensure it's properly provided.
