Happy Birthday my sweet darling Gemini. All of your personalities call to me like a siren in the wind. Theres the fixer, the doer, the romantic, the host, the ornery best friend, the party animal, the lover and the business man. I love all of them so much but my favorite is the one you are when you're with me. Crickets Edwin. I scheduled this post two weeks ago, so I hope wherever we are right now, and whatever shenanigans I roped you into, you're having a great time, and the whole world knows how grateful I am to have met you, and aggressively pursued you across the country, to the point now where its t minus 9 months till my move to LA. The beauty of the service industry, is falling in love with your coworkers like they are family, and then watching them create their own. 11 years ago I worked my first bar shift in River Oaks with Luan and claimed him as my work husband day one. We've since traveled the country and the world together, I've watched him fall in love, make babies and buy homes. My favorite thing of all though is watching him be punked by his toddler. We were all busy, and tired, the house was chaos, but babies are only this little for so long and we had to capture these sweet memories. One hour of over stimulation for a lifetime of images to look back at. I love you soooo much Lu & Dev, and your little tiny terrors too. 🥹

L'Amour Noir Pop Up Preview Night✨... all the way back in January. I am so far behind posting content. I've done so many amazing things with beautiful creatives already this year. hosted a series of shows that had all the influencers out at upstairs speakeasy lounge and I just went back and watched the preview reel we made for that night, it was all so sexy. So excited for next seasons. ❤

Content Days are more like girlie pop nights out for me. Its hard to get out of the house and "go out". If I'm not working or creating with you in some way I really don't see you right now, so I really enjoy being around other industry baddies that are doing the same thing. Growing their business. Working as hard as they can. Creating their "art", and I get to capture that teenie little moment in time that tells that story. Tarot and Tini Night was especially fun with .... and I got to break out my personal Tarot deck I picked up at Tales of the Cocktail in NOLA last summer. A beautiful first edition set, pieced together through a collaboration of local NOLA artists, by another girlie pop artist as well. Full circle energy.
