Had the sweetest two munchkins for heirlooms. They definitely put my skills to the test and I loved every minute of it!🤍

If this type of session is something you would love to have done but feel like your little one
-Cant sit still
-Is to silly for pictures
-Will cry
-Is shy
etc.
…..I promise I will get those still, quiet, and sweet moments you may not even realized happened!
This type of session is all about patience and following your little ones lead without making them more uncomfortable than they may already feel in front of a strange person with a camera in a strange new environment.

“What is a Fresh 48”

A Fresh 48 session is a newborn photo session that takes place in the hospital within the first day or two after baby arrives. I typically suggest planning it for the day after birth so mom has time to rest, recover, and soak in those first sweet moments.

If there are siblings I truly encourage including them. Whether it’s capturing that very first introduction to their new brother or sister, or just simply documenting your family together loving on your newest addition.

A big question you may have is, “How do I book if I don’t know when baby will arrive?”
I totally get it! If hospital photos are something you’re hoping for, it’s best to book in advance. I’ll put in your due date as a placeholder in my book, and once labor begins and baby is here, you’ll keep me posted as best as possible so we can choose a time that works for everyone for me to come by your hospital room.
Fresh 48 sessions are very natural, in the moment, and lightly guided. The focus is on telling your story, capturing those tiny details, the calm, and intimate atmosphere of those first hours together.

You’re always welcome to bring along anything special you’d like included such as announcement pieces, name signs, outfits, or sentimental items. I don’t typically bring props like wraps or baskets to these sessions. If you’re hoping for more styled, posed images of baby, an in-home newborn session might be a better fit since I bring everything needed for that experience.
