School’s almost out 🎓—and while I know parents and teachers are counting down the days, I wanted to share a sweet highlight from this spring. I had the joy of capturing school portraits for Branches Christian Co-Op, and it was such a fun, meaningful experience!

Fun fact for all you Napoleon Dynamite fans 👀 This house actually appeared in John Heder’s newest film, Tapawingo, which was filmed right here in Hopewell! 🎬

I had the pleasure of photographing this gem 📸 and with its gorgeous, corner lot yard and character throughout, it’s full of charm 🌿🏡

We love an old house over here ✨ and Hopewell surely has them! Though built in the early 1900s, the first house is a located near General Grant’s headquarters during the Civil War, and the second was built around the time the city started booming with industrial jobs in the 50s. I love seeing historical gems given some TLC while keeping the charm and character of their history. 🦋
