I went to Elko, NV this past April to see in all of its majestic glory, Union Pacific 4014 or as it is known by its nickname Big Boy. To witness this 1.2-million-pound behemoth moving down the track was absolutely one of the best experiences I have had. The sound of this chugging down the track and hearing that whistle blowing was amazing. It's on its way to the East Coast now, if the opportunity presents itself to you, get out there and see it in action. Simply amazing!

This fixer-upper is located near Schools, Beaches, and Towns. Only serious buyers will be accepted.
All joking aside; when I pass by something like this in my travels, I have to stop and take a photo. What really amazes me about this house... It's still standing, (maybe the trees are holding it up.) The other question, who owns it and why is it still there?

Today's photo was taken off the coast of Long Island. There is a ferry that takes you from Orient Point, NY across the Long Island Sound to New London, CT. This lighthouse sits off the coast of Long Island. This is not the prettiest lighthouse by a longshot, but there is something about the hard look this lighthouse has. I'm here to do my job and too bad if I show a little rust.

Today I am going back to a photo I took a few years ago. This was when I was just learning. The timing of this photo was pure luck. The photo was taken from Rye, NH, 6 miles to the east is Star Island. There is a lot of history behind that island and the formation of New Hampshire as a state.

This photo was taken from a hot air balloon in March. The location is in Casa Grande, AZ. That is about 45 miles south of Phoenix. We almost didn't fly that day because of the weather. So glad that we did.
