Come with me around North West Maui on one lane Kahekii highway towards the NW village of Kehakuloa, for one of my fave parts of cycling the 125km/77mile Loop.
Kehakuloa doesn't have a traffic light, or a store. Just one food truck, on the outskirts, a church and two banana bread stops with Lorraines being the cyclists fave! 🤙🏾✨️💙

One lane, no water stops or phone service for hours on the NW too! Risky? Maybe... well, next time I'll definitely pack two water bottles instead of one and also some Protein bars.
Aloha spirit of strangers driving by got me a water bottle fill, handful of raisins, an apple and banana as i did it fasted.
Only ate a meal after 110kms in Kahului. Talk about pushing mental, emotional and physical limits. Literally a spiritual experience and discovering more magic about Maui in one day. Wasn't easy but felt great! Treated myself to a grilled Chik fil a chicken burger when i got to Kahului after 110kms. Almost a 3000 calorie workout. Bought a loaf of Julies Famous Banana bread too placed in back of my jersey in Kahakuloa! What an Adventure! 💪🏾

As a boy growing up in Australia, I used to watch with fascination the festivities every May on television at the Cannes Film Festival. The World's oldest and most glamorous. Now to partake and experience this myself, has been incredible. My subconscious manifestations I had growing up are a reality.

Wonderful memories shooting with beautiful in 2011 for Fitness Supermodel weekend. We got a terrific selection of images from this shoot that its difficult to choose just one. This one shot late afternoon while the sun came down hit Christine's hair just right and the Event poster in the background is a fun touch. That Christine didn't compete at all this year yet rocked up to the shoot Event looking like this says a lot about her work ethic and dedication 👏🏾
