Say hello to one of the iconic piers of Topsail, where the ocean breeze whispers secrets to the shore. Seaview pier, a haven for early risers, is basking in the warm, golden rays from an early morning sunrise, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.

When I look back on some of the experiences life has given me, I feel incredibly grateful for the memories, the people I’ve met, and the opportunities I’ve had along the way.

From helping handle a balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to working as a background actor on sets like Halloween Kills and USS Christmas, life has taken me places I never could have imagined. One of the most unforgettable adventures was skydiving over the ocean with my son. I’ve also had the opportunity to witness Michael Jordan’s Hall of Fame induction speech, experience the excitement of the after-party, and travel across the country in my RV—an adventure I hope to take again someday.

I still get goosebumps thinking about seeing the Grateful Dead and The Band at the Carrier Dome in 1984. Some moments stay with you forever, reminding you just how much life has to offer.

With all that being said, I'm grateful for you all!

In July 2011, my mother's life was forever changed with a breast cancer diagnosis. But in the midst of darkness, a beacon of hope arrived - a pink blanket with a card bearing a pink ribbon and a heartfelt message: 'angels watching over you.' Little did I know that blanket and the incredible organization behind it would become a source of comfort and strength when she passed away in Dec. 2011. I was inspired to pay it forward by printing these images on 20 x 30 canvases and donating them to the organization that has mended not just my heart, but countless others as well. These will be auctioned off at the annual gala. The Baldwin Fund that host Moonlight for a Cure and help support life-changing cancer research. The fund that honored my mother and named a grant in her honor!! Check them out, you might recognize a face or 2.
