It's real when you are working on a client project in between dropping your kids off at school and getting groceries.

It’s real when you’re packaging orders after work at 10 PM.

It’s real when you’re posting consistently even though only five people like the post.

It’s real when you’re pouring your heart into something that nobody fully sees yet.

Professional brand photos are not some prize you unlock once you’ve “made it.”
They are one of the tools that help you build trust before people ever meet you.

Because people decide within seconds whether your business feels established, intentional, and worth investing in.

And blurry selfies, random lighting, and cropped vacation photos can only carry you so far.

The businesses you admire did not magically wake up looking polished and consistent one day. At some point, you decided to start showing up like the business owner you wanted to become.

That’s what brand photos do.
They help your audience see the version of your business. The vision you already know exists behind the scenes.

You do not need 10K followers first.
You do not need a "legit" storefront first.
You do not need to “earn” visibility first.

You need visuals that reflect the level of care, strategy, and passion you’re already putting into your work.

Because waiting until your business is “successful enough” to invest in your brand is kind of like waiting until you’re in shape to start going to the gym.
The investment is part of the growth.

And one day you’ll look back at this season and be glad you stopped hiding behind “maybe later.”

Brand photo horror movies I don’t want to see:

1. Your client pays for head shots and uses AI to “enhance” them.
2. Your client says on their marketing strategy questionnaire that their target audience is “everyone”.
3. Your client says they haven’t gotten new headshots 10+ years
4. You send the final gallery of images you love, but your client hates them.
5. Your client sends you info pics that are unrealistic/not necessary for their brand.

My job is your brand photographer is to make sure you feel confident in your brand photos. To do this I work alongside you to make sure your photos are captured in a collaborative environment!

One day you look at your camera roll and realize every photo of your family is rushed. A birthday party in bad lighting. A blurry selfie in the car. A random snapshot between the chaos.

And suddenly...
You realize how long it’s been since you were all intentionally in a photo together.

You stop saying “maybe next year” because your kids don’t stay the same for next year. Their smiles change. Their voices change. The way they reach for your hand changes too.

You stop worrying about whether everyone will behave perfectly or wear the perfect outfit. Because years from now, you won’t care about any of that. You’ll care that you can still remember this season of life exactly as it was.

That’s what family photos are really for.
Not perfection. Not posing.
Just preserving the people you love while life is happening right now.

Senior photos are not about looking perfect. They're about looking like yourself at 17, one last time.

In a few months, everything changes. The school, the schedule, the friend group, the version of you that exists right now in this exact season of life. These photos are not for the college applications or the announcements. They are for you, 20 years from now, when you want to remember exactly who you were before everything shifted. The way you laughed. The things you were into. The places that felt like yours.

That's what I'm here to capture.

At Fortis, we focus on primarily on brand and headshot photography, but when I started Fortis back in 2020, I was capturing seniors first! To this day, I still really enjoy a fun senior session!
