Another wedding photo & video company that hires cheap random labor from all over the U.S. shuts down without any warning and leaves tons of couples without a refund or a photographer/videographer!
Guys if you are working with a company that doesn't tell you exactly who is photographing your wedding on your wedding day (if not the actual owner themselves) then you are majorly risking your wedding day memories and creating a major headache for yourself. These people find random people on facebook with a camera to cover weddings and these people usually have no experience/skill or may not even show up on yoru wedding day at all! I can't tell you how many times I see photo/video companies posting on facebook "I need a lead/associate photographer and videographer for all of these dates" and they hire any random Joe thats willing to do the job for cheap so this company can make money from doing nothing.
Is it really worth the risk of hiring these companies to save a few dollars?
I'll be honest, these last two years have been extremely difficult for my business and businesses similar to mine and its because of companies like this who book tons and tons of wedding clients for an unreasonably cheap price without having anybody skilled on the actual team on board to cover these weddings and it's the clients who suffer.
More and more brides are posting "I hated my wedding photos and I'm looking to get them re-done" or "The photographer who was sent to my wedding had no idea what they were doing and I have no photos of this or that". So before you just jump on the cheapest price think about the actual exprience and learn from articles like this!
A wedding photography company has abruptly shut down, leaving engaged couples and contracted photographers in the dark, many of them reportedly out thousands of dollars.
