Janet Cruz Photography I am known for capturing beauty in everyday locations, my work can be seen through out the Rochester area and up and down the East Coast.

When not creating art I spend my time capturing Family and Senior Portraits as well as High School Sporting events. Working with digital photography, artist and storyteller, I have been able to contribute my take on themes regarding “The beauty in the world around you”, through my on-going work. Most known for capturing beautiful everyday locations, my work occupies a number of spaces including St John’s Home, various Health Care Facilities in the Rochester area, DePaul’s Apartments buildings, as well as various offices and private homes throughout the East Coast. When not creating art, I spend my time preserving memories through Family and Senior Portraits as well as capturing the emotions and action at High School Sporting events. I've had photographs published in Good Housekeeping, Senior Inspire and Senior Year Magazines. I love summer. I love the sun, the warmth, the color—and especially the flowers. 🌸🌺🌻

I don't enjoy watching summer fade away, which is one of the reasons that whenever we can, we head south for the winter. I need my sunshine & warm weather!

Flowers, gardens, color, light…they are all irresistible to me & my Canon. 📷

So, as the days get shorter and winter creeps in, I thought I’d share a few of my flower images and hold onto a little bit of summer.

Here's to all the great kids at RH!!!!

It's been a rough week for me and I always feel better when I'm around good people. ❤️

This week, I’ve been reminded once again why I love being out there with the Rush-Henrietta kids. Their energy, enthusiasm, determination, laughter—and just being themselves—has a way of lifting my spirits.

I’m not there just for the game. I’m there to celebrate these kids and the moments they’re creating along the way.

So here’s another little shout-out to the amazing students of Rush-Henrietta. Keep showing up. Keep working hard. Keep being YOU.

The girls came away with a 2–0 win over Canandaigua as they celebrated some of great teachers. Good job ladies. As always, it was great fun being out there with you!
