You are not going to let me lie 🥲

As a mom and business owner, sometimes I get so caught up in trying to finish everything on my to-do list that I forget to enjoy the little moments along the way.

And let’s be real… getting things done with two little ones around takes twice as long. 😅

But looking back at these videos, I realize that having them there made this whole experience even more special.

It wasn’t always productive, organized, or pretty… but we made some sweet memories along the way. 🤍

Mamas, do you get things done faster when your kids aren’t around, or have you learned to embrace the chaos too? 😂👇

Como mamá y dueña de un negocio, a veces estoy tan enfocada en terminar todos mis pendientes que se me olvida disfrutar los pequeños momentos durante el proceso.

Y seamos sinceras… hacer las cosas con dos niños pequeños toma el doble de tiempo. 😅

Pero ahora que veo estos videos, me doy cuenta de que tenerlos ahí hizo que toda esta experiencia fuera todavía más especial.

No siempre fue productivo, organizado ni bonito… pero también creamos recuerdos muy especiales en el camino. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of a cake smash session starts long before I take the first photo. 🤍

Earlier this year, I took a cake smash workshop and realized even more how much thought goes into building a custom set from scratch.

It’s not just about choosing pretty decorations.

It’s about thinking through the colors, proportions, details, and how to make everything feel like it belongs together.

Since then, whenever a family shares a theme, a favorite character, or even just a color palette, my mind immediately starts imagining how to turn it into a little world created just for their baby. ✨

And I think that’s what I enjoy most about these sessions: watching an idea start as a simple reference and slowly become something made specifically to celebrate that baby’s first birthday.

Una de mis partes favoritas de una sesión de cake smash empieza mucho antes de tomar la primera foto. 🤍

A principios de este año tomé un workshop de cake smash y entendí todavía más todo lo que hay detrás de crear un set personalizado desde cero.

Gracias a eso entendí que no es solamente elegir una decoración bonita.

Es pensar en colores, proporciones, detalles y en cómo hacer que todo se sienta parte de una misma idea.

Desde entonces, cuando una familia me comparte una temática, un personaje favorito o incluso solo una paleta de colores, mi cabeza empieza a imaginar cómo convertirlo en un pequeño mundo hecho especialmente para ese bebé. ✨

Y creo que eso es lo que más disfruto de estas sesiones: ver cómo una idea empieza siendo solo una referencia y poco a poco se convierte en algo que existe únicamente para celebrar su primer añito.

When a new baby arrives…

a big brother is born too. 🥹🤍

One of the sweetest things about welcoming a second baby is watching your first little one step into a completely new role.

Suddenly, the baby you once held in your arms is the one reaching out to hold their little sibling. 🥹

And while everyone is excited to meet the newest member of the family, there’s another little person experiencing a pretty big change too.

That’s why I love capturing these little connections during newborn family sessions. Because someday, these photos will remind them of where their story as siblings began. 🤍

Cuando llega un nuevo bebe….

también nace un hermano mayor. 🥹🤍

Una de las cosas más bonitas de recibir a un segundo bebé es ver cómo tu primer hijo comienza una etapa completamente nueva.

De repente, ese bebé que antes cargabas en tus brazos ahora es quien quiere cargar a su hermanito. 🥹

Y aunque todos estamos emocionados por conocer al nuevo integrante de la familia, también hay otro pequeñito viviendo un cambio enorme.

Por eso me encanta fotografiar estas conexiones durante las sesiones familiares con recién nacidos. Porque algún día, estas fotografías les recordarán dónde comenzó su historia como hermanos. 🤍

Sometimes I wonder how many women feel this way 🤍

Trying to be a present mom, take care of your family, build a business, keep up with the house, and somehow still find time for yourself.

Some days, everything gets done. Other days, you’re just trying to make it through your to-do list. 😅

And I think that’s the part we don’t talk about enough.

You can be grateful for the life you’re building and still feel exhausted by everything it takes to build it.

So if you’re a mom trying to balance a million things at once, I see you. 🤍

Tell me I’m not the only one who feels this way sometimes. 🥹

A veces me pregunto cuántas mujeres nos sentimos así 🤍

Tratando de ser mamás presentes, cuidar de nuestra familia, sacar adelante un negocio, mantener la casa en orden y de alguna manera todavía encontrar un poquito de tiempo para nosotras.

Hay días en los que logramos hacer todo. Y otros en los que apenas estamos tratando de terminar nuestra lista de pendientes. 😅

Y creo que esa es la parte de la que casi no hablamos.

Podemos estar agradecidas por la vida que estamos construyendo y al mismo tiempo sentirnos agotadas por todo lo que implica.

Así que si eres una mamá tratando de hacer mil cosas a la vez, quiero que sepas que te entiendo. 🤍

That’s why a branding session isn’t always about choosing one or the other.

Pero los niños siguen creciendo, la vida se hace más ocupada y otra Navidad llega y se va.

Sometimes we need a reason to choose ourselves for a moment. 🤍

Not because everything is finished.
Not because life suddenly got less busy.
But because we decide that we’re worth making space for too.

That’s what I loved about this session. ✨
It wasn’t only about celebrating a birthday or creating new photos for her business.

It was about giving Cesia a moment where she didn’t have to take care of everything else first.

She could simply arrive, get ready, feel beautiful, and enjoy being celebrated. 💄

And I think more women need moments like that.

Not for anyone else.
Not because there’s a special occasion.
Just because you deserve to feel seen too.

A veces necesitamos una razón para elegirnos a nosotras mismas por un momento. 🤍

No porque todo ya esté resuelto.
No porque la vida de repente esté menos ocupada.
Sino porque decidimos que nosotras también merecemos hacernos un espacio.

Eso fue de mis cosas favoritas de esta sesión. ✨

No se trataba solamente de celebrar un cumpleaños o de crear nuevas fotos para su negocio. También era darle a Cesia un momento en el que no tenía que estar pendiente de todo lo demás.

Solo llegar, arreglarse, sentirse bonita y dejarse celebrar un poquito. 💄

Y creo que más mujeres necesitamos momentos así.
No por alguien más.
No porque tenga que existir una ocasión especial.

Simplemente porque tú también mereces sentirte vista y consentirte 🫶🏼
