Watching parents quietly take it all in 😱💔

Is one of the things I love most about graduation sessions.

The cap and gown are exciting, of course.

But what always stands out to me is seeing a mom or dad look at their child and realize just how much has changed.

The little person they once held in their arms is now stepping into a brand-new chapter.

As a mom myself, I know how quickly time passes.

One day you’re packing lunches, helping with homework, and driving them to school


and before you know it, you’re celebrating a graduation.

These milestones deserve to be remembered, not just for our children, but for us too. đŸ€

Ver a los papás observar todo en silencio 😱💔

Es una de las cosas que mĂĄs me gusta de las sesiones de graduaciĂłn.

Claro que la toga, el birrete y las fotos son emocionantes.

Pero lo que siempre me roba el corazĂłn es ver a una mamĂĄ o a un papĂĄ mirar a su hijo y darse cuenta de lo mucho que ha cambiado.

Ese pequeñito que un dĂ­a llevaban de la mano


ahora estĂĄ comenzando una nueva etapa de su vida.

Y como mamå, sé perfectamente lo råpido que pasa el tiempo.

Un día estás preparando lonches, ayudando con la tarea y llevándolos a la escuela


y al siguiente estĂĄs celebrando su graduaciĂłn.

Por eso creo que estos momentos merecen ser recordados.

No solo por nuestros hijos, sino tambiĂ©n por nosotros. đŸ€

Sessions this early always end up being some of my favorites đŸ€âœš

Maybe it’s the quiet morning, the empty location, or just how everything feels a little slower before the day starts.

When she first arrived, she was freezing 😭 it was super early, cloudy, and she had a ldress on. But little by little, everything started feeling more natural.

And honestly, I think that’s why I love when clients come back to me.

There’s already trust there. More comfort. More connection. It doesn’t feel like meeting a stranger with a camera anymore đŸ€

By the end of the session she was literally asking me to take photos of her spinning around đŸ„č✹ and seeing that change is always one of my favorite parts.

Also
 the matcha after waking up that early? 1000% necessary 😂

Maternity sessions are about so much more than just the bump đŸ€

Yes, I absolutely love taking beautiful photos of mama


but one of my favorite things is capturing the connection between the whole family during this season.

Because this baby is already changing everyone’s life.

The excitement, the way siblings hold mom’s belly, the little moments between mom and dad
 those are the things that make these sessions feel so meaningful to me.

And honestly, years from now, these are the photos your babies will look back on the most đŸ€

We always talk about the first pregnancy
 but rarely about the last one đŸ€

And honestly, this maternity session changed the way I see it.

There’s something so emotional about knowing you’re documenting the final time you’ll experience this stage of motherhood. Not only are you waiting for your baby, but you’re also closing such a meaningful chapter of your life as a woman and as a mom.

I loved capturing her beautiful family, the connection between them, and all the love that already surrounds this baby ✹

Sessions like this remind me that maternity photography is about so much more than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving a season of life that deserves to be remembered forever.
