I never imagined hummingbirds would become part of my photography journey, but here we are.

These guys have challenged me — forcing me to react quicker, stay patient, and get better at shooting in the moment.

They’re smart, fast, territorial, and incredibly competitive. One second they’re gone, the next they’re right in front of the lens.

Now, I just need to learn the different species.
