This is one reason photographers charge what they do. It’s so much more than just taking a picture. It’s the planning, driving to and from locations, time away from family, hours (and sometimes days) spent editing, and noticing all the tiny details to make sure your photos are perfect.

Even something as small as editing marker off a kid’s hand takes extra time and care behind the scenes 🤍

Not every session goes as planned—for clients or photographers. We show up with a vision, and sometimes life has its own. Snacks, blankies, bubbles… and moments that don’t look “perfect,” but feel real.

And honestly, that’s the beauty of it. The raw, unposed moments are often the ones worth remembering most.
