People have forgotten their manners. Then mind yours.

People love to gossip. Then don’t tell stories that aren’t yours to tell.

People only look out for themselves. Then look out for your own.

Everybody is angry. Then don’t give that anger room to roost.

People are so quick to point out someone’s mistakes. Then be a helping hand.

People are willing to tear someone down to feel taller. Then be the person who builds others up.

The absence of a virtue, is not an argument against it. Speak life into yourself and others.

So it has come to my attention that I haven’t introduced myself… 😅

Hi! My name is Casey Fitzko. I am a wife of a police officer and a boy mom of two. I started Sweet Mercies about 2 months ago in search of a way to help our family with income.

I had someone ask if I’ve always baked or have I always liked baking…
Truth is…. Nope. 😂
I never grew up baking or have ever even thought this would be where I’m at today. But, God paved this path for me.

The name “Sweet Mercies” comes from the scripture in Lamentations.
“His mercies are new each morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23
This verse speaks so much truth (as does all God-breathed scripture) but this verse is an excellent reminder.
No matter how far you’ve gone, no matter what you’ve done, no matter how messy you think you are, this scripture is a promise that Jesus died so that we can have these new mercies each and every day.

If you haven’t guess by now, I fully believe that Jesus is my Lord and Savior and he died for my sins. Some people will take offense to that and I might even lose business because of it. And that’s okay.

Just know, that I will never shut up about it. 🤣

Anyways, thank you everyone for your support, whether it’s in engagement, prayer or if you’ve purchased treats from me. Lord willing, Sweet Mercies will be around for a while. 🙏🏻🤍🍪
