We've been cooped up inside for a couple weeks, and I've been dying to create something beautiful. On Friday I decided there was no time like the present, and decided to style our own wedding invitations into a flat lay. I took the last copy of our letterpress invitation out of the silver frame it sits in on my desk, pulled my pearl necklace out from my jewelry box, and went to work.

It was unbelievably refreshing to create something just for fun and with no time restraint. I love a spontaneous, unrestrained feel in flat lay photographs, and having the subject be our own wedding invitations that I worked hard to create seven years ago felt so special.

We're home from the last travels of our 2018 wedding season, and feeling so grateful to all of our couples this year! We kicked off our year in Cancun and finished it with our first ever cruise wedding. We got to photograph some gorgeous new CT venues, and met so many amazing new couples for 2019 that we can't wait to work with! It seems impossible that 2019 is right around the corner but here we are :)

Oh hey, it's us! It's been a while since we showed our faces on here. We're packing up for our last wedding of the year...which is a CRUISE wedding! We've gone to so many awesome destinations, but never yet gotten on a big boat with one of our couples. We are SO pumped for Cynthia and Kwasi's wedding this weekend, and their celebration for all of next week!
