🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

Well… we officially had to make a NEW page! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately, Facebook would not allow us to change the name of Emily Milcher Photography to Rooted Lens Collective because of their name change restrictions.

So here we are — starting fresh! 🤍

But don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere! This rebrand is actually because this little business has grown into SO much more than when I originally started.

I’ve never been a photographer who fits into just one box. From weddings and couples to families, seniors, sports, minis and everything in between — I truly love capturing it ALL. Now we’re growing even more with content creation, video, and hopefully drone services coming soon!

Rooted Lens Collective gives me the room to grow, create, and continue telling your stories through every season of life.

If you followed Emily Milcher Photography, PLEASE head over and follow our new page! Sharing the page and inviting your friends would also mean more than you know as we basically have to build everything back up from scratch. 🫶🏼

Same girl behind the camera. Same love for what I do. Just a new name and a new chapter.

Welcome to Rooted Lens Collective. 🤎

Welcome to Rooted Lens Collective! 🤎

If you’ve been following me for a while, then you already know I have never been the photographer who sticks to just one thing

From your wedding day, to family pictures, seniors, couples, your kids sporting events and everything in between… I truly love capturing it ALL.

And that’s a huge reason behind this change.

I wanted a name that could grow with me and everything I love doing without putting me into one specific category.

So here we are… Rooted Lens Collective.

Same me behind the camera. Same love for capturing your people and your moments. Just a new name and a new chapter that feels a whole lot more like me. 🤎

And we’re just getting started!

✨ INTRODUCING ROOTED LENS CREATIVE CO. ✨

Same girl behind the camera. Same love for capturing the moments that matter. Just a new name that feels a whole lot more like ME and where this little business is headed.

Emily Milcher Photography has grown into so much more than I ever imagined when I first picked up a camera.

I photograph a little bit of EVERYTHING — weddings, couples, families, seniors, sports, events and all of the moments in between. But over the years, I’ve realized that what I love goes beyond just photography.

I love creating. I love telling stories. I love capturing the little moments, the behind-the-scenes, the movement, the emotion and everything that makes YOUR story yours.

And with content creation becoming a bigger part of what I offer, video becoming something I absolutely love, and drone services coming soon… it felt like the perfect time for a name that could grow right along with me.

So, welcome to…

ROOTED LENS CREATIVE CO.

Rooted in the moments.
Rooted in the people.
Rooted in the stories worth remembering.

Photography • Sports • Weddings • Families • Seniors • Content Creation • Video + more to come

This isn’t starting over.

It’s just the next chapter.

NIMS VS BRAWLEY 🏈
PART 2 IS HERE!

Over 1,300 photos were taken at this game… yes, you read that right. 😂 And I’m STILL working my way through them and bringing them to you guys!

There were way too many good moments from this game not to share them all. From the action on the field to the sidelines and everything in between, I absolutely LOVE capturing these moments for our athletes and their families.

As always, feel free to share, tag your athletes, and tag other parents you see!

Andddd stay tuned… because I’m not done yet. 📸

As you may have noticed, I’ve never really fit into just ONE photography niche.

I’m not just a sports photographer.
I’m not just a wedding photographer.
I’m not just a family + lifestyle photographer.

I’m a little bit of all of it — and I genuinely LOVE that about what I do.

One day I’m standing on the sidelines capturing the grit and emotion of a football game. The next, I’m photographing a family, celebrating a senior, documenting a wedding day, or capturing the little in-between moments that deserve to be remembered too.

For a while, I felt like I needed to choose a lane. Pick a niche. Build everything around one specific type of photography.

But the more I’ve grown, the more I’ve realized that just isn’t me.

I love the versatility. I love walking into completely different environments and finding a way to tell the story in front of me. And honestly, photography isn’t even the only way I love telling those stories anymore.

That’s a BIG reason behind the rebrand I’m currently working on. 👀

I want my brand to finally represent everything I create — not put me inside one little box.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now, and I’m SO excited to eventually show you what I’ve been working on.

Same person behind the camera.
Same love for capturing your moments.
Just a brand that finally feels a whole lot more like me.
