A little update from behind the camera 🤍
As many of you know, I recently made the decision to go back to school and pursue my nursing degree. With that comes a new season of figuring out how to balance school, working full-time, clinicals, life, and of course — photography.
But I want to make one thing very clear: I’m not putting my camera down.
Photography has been such a big part of my life for so many years. I’ve been trusted with wedding days, growing families, senior years, sporting events, engagements, businesses and so many moments that people can never get back. I don’t take that lightly.
Moving forward, I’m simply going to be more intentional about what I put on my calendar.
For Spring 2027, I’m still planning to take on a few more weddings, along with courthouse weddings and smaller/intimate celebrations.
I’m also continuing to book 2026 & 2027 seniors, which has become an area of photography I absolutely LOVE. I want to capture who you are right now — whether that includes your sport, truck, animals, hobbies, cap and gown, or just a location that feels like you.
And something I’m really excited to continue growing is my branding and content work for businesses. From branding sessions and product photography to social media content and behind-the-scenes coverage at events, pop-ups, launches and more — I love getting to help other businesses tell their story through photos.
This next chapter may look a little different, but Emily Milcher Photography isn’t going anywhere. If anything, I’m excited to be more intentional about the work I take on and the stories I get to tell.
Thank you to every single person who has booked me, recommended me, shared my work, or trusted me with a moment that mattered. It’s because of you that I still get to do something I genuinely love.
Here’s to a new season — and plenty more time behind the camera. 🤍
