There’s something extra special about photographing a growing family-especially when it includes a very active little man who has his own ideas about cooperation!

I had the joy of capturing my beautiful niece, her husband and their sweet little boy for their maternity session. Between bursts of toddler energy, giggles and quick moments of stillness, we made magic! Those real, unscripted moments are what make these images so beautiful. Oh & did I mention there were horses! SO MUCH FUN!

This season of life is full of movement, anticipation & love and their photos reflect every bit of it!

Some moments just hit a little different… I’ve known Paige since she was 5, and getting to photograph her graduation session on Temple’s campus in Philadelphia felt like watching everything come full circle.

We planned this shoot months ahead and of course, Philly gifted us rain. Then we realized the cap & gown didn’t get loaded in the car! But if you know me, you know I’m always up for a pivot. We made it work, we laughed through the chaos, and Paige absolutely shined anyway.

Sometimes the unplanned moments end up being the most meaningful ones.

Collin was nervous at first, this was his very first time in front of a professional camera. Once we got started, he relaxed, trusted the process, and even gave me a smile!

If you’ve been putting off photos because you’re unsure or anxious, let this be your sign! You don’t have to be a model. You just have to show up, I’ll take care of the rest! 💛
