Irsha is a dear friend of mine. She is one of those friends who you can call up at 12:30 pm and be at the beach with at 2:00 pm on a Wednesday. Half moon bay is usually overcast and cloudy 75% of the time, even in summer. So to say we hit the jackpot this day is no exaggeration. The sunlight was hitting this mother's maternity glow in all the right places. Of course it helps when your friends is gorgeous and wears the most perfect highlighter. But besides being pretty on the outside this girl is beautiful on the inside. She has been by my side in the good, the bad, and the ugly. She knows how to put a smile on my face and is constantly making me laugh with Nacho Libre quotes. It was such a marvelous day I cannot even describe it. It was such a privilege to be with her on the beach taking her maternity photos for the last time- at least that's what she said-. I hope you can all see my friend the way I see her: as the most beautiful and angelic pregnant woman I have ever seen.

When we first arrived to Half Moon Bay it seemed like it was going to be another overcast day in the California coast but as soon as these two smiled the clouds started to disipate. The first smiles came right after we had tacos for breakfast, because being in love means nothing if you are running on an empty stomach right? I don't know if it was the delishious tacos or the crisp breeze in air that made this day amazing but one thing is for sure: The chemistry between these two is electric. I hope I was able to campture that with these sweet romantic photographs. So without any further adew here are a few of my favorite pictutes from this weekends engagement session.

I got super excited when Karina approached me about a maternity session because our families and our friendship go way back. Seeing her glowing and pregnant is unbelievable, because to me she will always be the happy cumbia dancing queen she has always been. One thing is certain the chemistry between these two is undeniable and so are those smiles.

It was soooo much fun to shoot this couple. Christina has one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen and Fernanado was the most cooperative groom. They are as you can tell madly in love and there are no better subjects than two love birds. Congrats guys!
