A little update:

So we went to Pere Cheney again to check it out & see what we felt or to see what's changed.

When we arrived, we knew something was off. The entire place looks COMPLETELY different. The trees, the grass, the dirt. It's hard to explain but it ALL looks like a different place.

That being said, we got out of our vehicle & still walked around to see if we could feel anything.

Those of you that have been here since our last visit, you'll remember that we felt something really crazy in this one specific area of Pere Cheney. That same place, I (kurt) still felt really heavy. Other than that.. we felt absolutely nothing. It's such a weird experience.. it feels as if the whole place was replaced.

Either way.. there is still something there.. the questions are.. where is it? Why is it hiding? Why does it feel different? What happened?

Hey guys!
We investigated a new place yesterday!
Okay, this is a big one.
We had the honor of touring the most haunted lighthouse in the U.P.!
The lighthouse we toured is called Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse!

We got there just in time for the last tour. The people running it were so nice! The area this lighthouse sits is so beautiful!
First, they allowed us to walk the 92 tiny stairs straight up, about 80 feet into the air up the lighthouse, that was a cool experience, after we got back down, we got a tour a little history lesson of the main building. Then we got to head upstairs by ourselves & as soon as we got up there we felt incredibly heavy. As you can see, we took pictures of every room that was upstairs. We keep looking to see if we caught anything in all the pictures we took, maybe you guys can see something we can't? Let us know!

Every room we went in after that, we both felt as if we were being watched. Not by something nefarious but as if someone was just letting us know that they were there with us.

There is SO much history with this place! Out of every place that we have been to, THIS is the only place that we have felt these strong feelings.

When we were done with the tour, we started to walk back to the car and I (Kurt) felt as if I was being drug back in by someone.. something.. I didn't want to leave. Someone or something wanted me to stay. Again, I'll say it wasn't or it didn't feel like anything bad, evil, or nefarious but whatever it was, wanted me to stay..

We encourage you guys to read the story of this place, it's incredibly intriguing.

Deadman's Hill!

It sits at a 1,329-foot elevation! It overlooks Jordan River Valley situated about 400 below.

The story: Deadman's Hill looks over Jordan River Valley, which is unfortunately the site of many tragic accidents over the years.
The last accident was that of 23 year old, Samuel Graczyk (Big Sam).
He was killed when a team of horses and a Big Wheel loaded with logs went out of control on a steep slope near the hill. The hill is now known as Deadman's Hill, a memorial to his life & tragic death. It is said that, that every evening he was supposed to marry his childhood sweetheart.

All that being said, there are a few discrepancies..
First, the sign that is up at the top of Deadman's Hill mistakenly calls Samuel "Stanley" & also says he was 21 when his death certificate says he was 23 at the time of his death. No one knows why those mistakes are there. Anything thing is that he is supposedly buried at Saint Thomas Cemetery not too far away. We went there & looked for his grave & it wasnt there. We looked at every stone. This either means, his grave is unmarked for some reason, or.. he's not there.
We were going to go to the local church to see if they had any information on it but it was closed & no one was there. Samuel is said to haunt the area at sunset.

When we got up there, all we felt was peace. We watched the sunset. It was so beautiful. There was no sign of Samuel that night but just because we couldn't see him, doesn't mean he wasn't sitting right there alongside us watching the sunset over the very place of his untimely death.
