Man, being a Father to my firstborn is a feeling I’ll never be able to fully put into words. 😢

Watching my baby girl walk across that stage as Little Miss Xavier with so much confidence, grace & personality had me feeling every emotion possible. 🥹👑

She reminds me so much of myself. Her confidence, determination, independence, and the way she carries herself at such a young age. She’s truly walking in her own light, and I couldn’t be prouder.

As her Father, I pray she never loses that light or questions the greatness already inside of her. Keep shining, baby girl. Daddy will always be your biggest supporter, cheering you on every step of the way.

🌹 GIVE FLOWERS FRIDAY | REESE JACKSON & HIS MOM, JESSICA 💚🖤✨

Sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you least expect them!

While photographing the National Fried Chicken Festival, I had the opportunity to cross paths backstage with one of New Orleans’ brightest young personalities, Reese Jackson, along with his amazing mother, Jessica.

Man, what an incredible young man! Full of personality, confidence, humor & sooooo much potential. At such a young age, Reese is already making his mark as a food critic and comedian, bringing joy to people far beyond New Orleans.

What made this encounter even more special was meeting his mother, who surprisingly already knew who I was! We shared such a genuine moment & it reminded me just how important it is to recognize the people who are doing extraordinary things right in our own community.

But today, I especially want to give flowers to Jessica. 🌹

Behind this talented young man is a mother who sees something special in her son and is making sure the world gets an opportunity to see it too. That deserves recognition! As a father myself, I understand how important it is to recognize your children’s gifts, nurture their confidence, and give them every opportunity to become everything God created them to be.

Reese, young king, KEEP GOING! 👑 Never lose that personality, that confidence, or that joy you bring to people. You are proof that age doesn’t determine how much of an impact someone can make.

And Jessica, please keep doing what you’re doing. You’re not just supporting your son. You’re helping him build a foundation that can inspire other young children & parents to believe in what’s possible.

I believe we should celebrate our young people just as loudly as we celebrate those who have been doing it for decades.

It was truly an honor meeting you both. Today, these flowers belong to YOU! 💐❤️
