LOGO WORK: This past Summer, I had the pleasure of working with a phenomenal educator by the name of Shasta Kelly Looper!

Towards the end of our time working together, she let me in on a project that she was getting ready to push forward to the public. She called it "The Teacher's Loop" -- a blog where she shared her passion, thoughts and professional development tips for everything that is education. Help Portrait 2018: Communities in Schools of Greenville coordinated this wonderful event that brought professionals together to serve the local community. Community partners provided cosmetology and family portraits at no charge. In addition, families were able to learn about a variety of resources and programs available to them. My dear colleague, Hanna, was a great help to me today. We were volunteering at the same event and I had an opportunity to test out my new indoor lighting. Despite how hectic the morning was, and the extremely short notice, she gladly agreed to be an impromptu model for me. This School Counselor/Makeup Artist/Worship Rockstar is always there in a pinch!

The Active Heroes Zumbathon exists to support military families and to bring awareness to veteran su***de and the mission to end it.This cause was so near and dear to my heart as the wife of a combat veteran. The event was packed with dance fitness fanatics who were ready to have fun while raising funds for Active Heroes. I feel so honored that I got to photograph this event!
