In home newborn sessions are some of my favorite sessions. I like to take time to capture little moments so clients (including baby) don't feel rushed. Taking my time also allows me to capture a good variety of photos. And, sweet baby Nash was just the cutest.

Now that holiday cards are out, I can finally post some family sessions from this fall. This sweet family was so fun to photograph and I just cant get over the golden hour lighting as the sun set. It was magical.

A few reasons I love lifestyle newborn sessions. They are relaxed don’t require the baby to be asleep the whole time. You get to show off different aspects of your home, like this beautiful antique crib that belonged to this sweet baby’s grandparent. They can be minimal contact for the photographer (which is perfect for these times). And they can be done any time in the first couple of months of the baby’s life.

Loved seeing this sweet family and their absolutely adorable newest member for a lifestyle newborn session. I photographed them almost a year ago when they were a family of three and was honored to capture the newness of life as a family of four.
